We went over to the high school and performed our concert for the 1st and 2nd graders.  WE WERE AWESOME!!!!!!

Badger Visit!!!

our badger Buddies came to visit.  Taylor and Gabby play on the Women's Softball team and have worked with our class on building vocabulary.  They spent an hour with us playing Minute to Win It games and Multiplication Baseball.

Math 24 Competition

Every Tuesday's and Thursday's 9:30 recess is MATH Club.  Students in 3rd and 4th grade are encouraged to challenge their math computation skills while making 24.

Then there is a Regional  MATH 24 competition for 4th graders.  We were able to send two of our own fourth graders on Feb. 28th.  They brought back medals too!!!!  Layla won second place and Jonathon took 5th.  There was one other DeForest winner in the top 6.  Eagle Point rocked it and competed very well against the 21 competitors in the competition!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!

We celebrated Dr. Seuss today with a healthy treat..(minus the marshmallow) This class is so great!!! I read one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books and had two guest readers (Mrs. Toth and Mrs. Bohlman) share their favorite stories too!
