MATH 24

WAHOOOOO!!!  We had a great day at the Math 24 competition.  Xander, Kyle, Gabby competed well against other Deforest 4th graders, Sun Prairie, and Beloit. Reagan came as an alternate.
Kyle took home the TOP Scorer in DeForest, and a 4th place (out of 36) medal.

Sugar and Sleds

We celebrated Valentine's Day and got to go sledding....tough day at school. (We did take a pre-test in reading, worked on fractions, and investigated magnets too!)

STATIC ELECTRICITY

We explored what happens when we create a charge....static.... What do the balloons attract to and repel from??? We made salt and pepper dance and paper people jump.
