Fourth Grade Families,
The last month of the school year is an exciting time for everyone
as we plan end of the year activities and begin looking ahead to next year.
Our 4th Grade Parent Orientation Night will be on Thursday, May 9th
from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the 5/6 gym at the Middle School. The information
will be directed toward adults, as the 4th grade students will have
already participated in a shadowing experience at the middle school.
Also, families who have already had a student make the 4th to 5th
grade transition do not need to attend unless they would like a refresher.
At the May 9th family orientation, we will briefly cover the following topics:
5th Grade programming and activities
- DAMS structures and culture
- Student Services
- How to get questions answered if/when families need help
- Q & A with current 5th grade students
