Welcome to 2019!!!  I am so sad that Ms. Deaver finished her work with us, but look forward to getting in a new routine.  We have a new student and will be moving forward in our curriculum.

I hope everyone had a great winter break and that all are well rested.

German Exchange Students came to Visit...

Our high school has been hosting 9 German students and their teacher. We were lucky to have them come and visit our fourth grade classrooms.  They taught the students German words, about their culture, and about their experiences in Germany. It was a great visit.

Using our Space!

We had an opportunity to use the space we have in our beautiful school.  We had a weather Fact scavenger hunt.  Students had to read fact cards and answer short comprehension questions.  We then had a class discussion about the information we discovered.

WOW....WE have been AWESOME!!!!!

I am so pleased with our class!  We have had to have indoor recess, take assessments, work on new units and learn how the fourth grade works.
I can honestly say that our class has rocked it.  We have had to have a few reminders...but overall we are doing a great job!

We have had working snack at math time...asked great questions in writing and reading, and have participated in all math lessons.

EVERYONE is doing a fantastic job!!!

I am very proud of this group!

We have a great class....everyone has really worked hard and have done their best!

We have worked on writing stories about things they know, build stamina in reading, math strategies, math games, and how to be safe, responsible and respectful!

I am very please with how well our class works together.

Have a great weekend!

Off to a great start!!!!

We are off to a fantastic start!  We have started our curriculum work in all subjects.  Students were given a spelling inventory to see where they are at so we can best meet their needs.

I think we have a great group of kids.  Everyone seems to be settling into 4th grade quite nicely!
